Enjoy one of Amsterdam's best-known restaurants

The Restaurant De Kersentuin has undergone a complete renovation and is now open once again. With a famous history which spans more than 30 years, the restaurant is now moving in an exciting and innovative new direction. The kitchen is in the capable hands of two-starred Michelin chef Stefan van Sprang. Stefan's motto is high-level casual dining with a healthy serving of flair. Among other culinary delights, his menu includes simplified versions of several signature dishes from Aan de Poel.

* Due to the summer break, De Kersentuin is closed for dinner from 30 July until 13 August. Lunch is closed until 20 August. In the meantime, you are welkom in our lounge.

The Kersentuin Bar is a comfortable and cozy place to enjoy a snack and a drink. You can grab a delicious wine or cold beer, a small bite and several classics. Recently, the Kersentuin Bar introduced a Bloody Mary Cocktail Menu. A slow juice of fresh vegetables, herbs, spices and an alcoholic bite: the Bloody Mary as a culinary cocktail.

Pure products & signature dishes

The menu is a mix of ‘pure products’ & signature dishes by Stefan van Sprang. Van Sprang is a consulting chef for ‘De Kersentuin’. Chef Wessel Ruijmgaart, formerly the sous-chef of ‘Aan de Poel’ in Amstelveen, is responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen. All the items on the menu are served as small dishes. The chef recommends ordering a selection of 2 to 3 dishes for lunch and 3 to 4 dishes for dinner.
