At what time can I check-in?
You may check in at the Garden Hotel from 3 p.m. each day. But don’t worry if you need to arrive earlier. If your room isn’t ready yet, we will be happy to store your luggage for you.
At what time do I have to check-out?
You may use your room until 12 a.m. on the day of departure. Wish to check out at a later time? This is possible for a fee, provided the room is available. Please contact the hotel regarding this option.
Parking and Accessibility
Is it possible to park my car at the hotel?
Parking is possible at the hotel itself (limited number of spaces, €32.50 per day) or in the near vicinity (€4.50 per hour / €32.40 per day).
Does the hotel have a charging station for electric vehicles?
The Garden Hotel has no charging stations for electric vehicles.
Is the hotel easily accessible by public transport?
From 'Amsterdam Centraal' train station, walk towards 'Oostzijde' tram stop. Take tram 24 in the direction of the 'VU medisch centrum' and get off at 'Gerrit van der Veenstraat' tram stop. From this stop, it takes six minutes to walk to the hotel. Head northeast on 'Beethovenstraat'. After 190 metres, turn left onto 'Apollolaan' and after 180 metres turn right onto 'Dijselfhofplantsoen'. After 180 metres, you will see the hotel on your left-hand side.

Garden Hotel does not have shuttle service, but pick-up can be provided. Please contact the hotel for more information.
Is it possible to order a taxi?
It is possible to order a taxi from the hotel. You can do this at reception, or by contacting the hotel.
How can I make a reservation?
You can reserve online quickly and easily. Prefer personal contact? Feel free to call to +31 (0)20 570 56 00 or e-mail us to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will be sent an e-mail confirming your reservation. You will pay upon your arrival at the hotel (except if you book at the special Value rate, which requires a credit card deposit).
Can I make a change to my reservation?
It is possible to make changes to your reservation online. At the bottom of the confirmation e-mail you received for your reservation, you will find a button marked ‘change my reservation’. Clicking this button will direct you to the booking page, where you can adjust your reservation. We are, of course, also happy to offer you individual help by e-mail or over the phone.
How is the price determined for my reservation?
The total cost of your reservation consists of the costs of your stay plus a service charge and a tourist tax. The service charge applies to all guests of age 12 and older and is a standard fee of € 3.40 per person per night. The tourist tax is set by the relevant municipal authorities and will therefore differ from one hotel to the next.
What are the cancellation conditions?
Cancellation is at no charge until 4 p.m. on the day of arrival. After this time, or if you do not show up, 100 percent of the costs of the first night or the package will be charged on your credit card. This is not valid with the special Value rate.
What contains the best price guarantee?
You no longer need to compare, you will receive the best price for your stay via the Bilderberg website and you will receive a discount on Bilderberg's extensive breakfast. Moreover, you have a choice of all room types that are available at the hotel. For example, choose a deluxe room, executive hotel room or deluxe room with balcony.
Is the hotel suitable for families?
Yes, children are more than welcome at the Garden Hotel. For them, an extra baby bed can be placed in various rooms (for free and only for children of age 0 - 2 years). Learn more.
Are there family rooms?
No, the Garden Hotel does not have family rooms.
Are there special rates for children?
Children with the age 11 and under stay for free when you book an overnight stay including breakfast. In that case, you will pay only the fees for the use of an additional crib or bed. For package deals that include dinner or other extra amenities, a reduced rate will apply to children.
CAN MY INVOICE BE PUT IN THE NAME OF THE COMPANY?
It is possible to put the invoice of your stay in the name of the company. Please mention this when making the reservation. Are you not making the reservation yourself? Then we ask you to inform us when you arrive at the hotel.
IS THERE A LOYALTY PROGRAMME FOR BUSINESS GUESTS?
There is no loyalty programme for business guests.

On request, reception can always print or scan documents for you. A charge will be made for large quantities.
WHAT IS PRESENT IN A MEETING ROOM?
In a meeting room, you will find: two flip charts, a beamer with screen and a conference box. In the conference box, we have useful items for the meeting: post-its, markers, name tags, scrap paper and more.
DO THE MEETING ROOMS HAVE AN AIR CONDITIONING?

WHICH FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE IN A HOTEL ROOM?

No dogs or other pets are permitted in the Garden Hotel.

The Garden Hotel has a lift that is accessible for those with disabilities. Furthermore, the hotel has disabled-friendly rooms. To book a specific room, please contact the hotel reception.
ARE SPECIAL WISHES POSSIBLE?
Because we are eager to ensure a pleasant experience for every guest, we make it a priority to accommodate their wishes/requirements whenever possible. If you inform us of your wishes in advance, we can let you know what is possible.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served in our restaurant from 7 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. on weekdays and from 7.30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the weekends.
What time is lunch served?
Lunch is available all days in our Bar-bistro from 12 noon to 3.30pm. You also have the choice of taking a lunchbox 'to go'.
What time is dinner served?
The Bar-bistro offers dinner every day from 18:00 to 22:00.
Does the rooms have air conditioning?
All 124 rooms at the Garden Hotel have air conditioning.
Is there a fitness room?
No, the Garden Hotel does not have a gym at the hotel. However, you can use the fitness facilities at an external location at an additional charge. You can contact the hotel for this.
Is there a swimming pool and sauna?
No. However, it is possible to book a massage at the Garden Hotel. This is subject to availability and at an additional charge.
Can I rent a bike?
It is possible to rent bicycles at the hotel. There are 10 bicycles available and you can book them at the reception. The costs are €12.50 per 3 hours, €15 for 8 hours and €20 for 24 hours.
Does the hotel have a charging point for electric bicycles?
Unfortunately, the Garden Hotel does not have a charging point for electric bicycles.
Does the hotel have a bicycle shed?
Unfortunately, the Garden Hotel does not have a covered bicycle shed. However, there are bicycle stands at the side of the hotel where you can park your bicycle.
What is the balance of my Gift Card?

Where can I spend my Gift Card?
The Bilderberg Gift Card is free to spend at all Bilderberg hotels, restaurants and Wellness Centers of Bilderberg. It is not possible to pay for reservations with a credit card payment in advance using the Gift Card.
Does the hotel also accept national gift cards, such as a VVV cadeaukaart?
This depends on which hotel you are staying at. The Garden Hotel does not accept nationalwide gift cards, such as a VVV cadeaukaart.
