At what time can I check-in?
You may check in at Grand Hotel Wientjes from 2 p.m. each day. But don’t worry if you need to arrive earlier. If your room isn’t ready yet, we will be happy to store your luggage for you. Your reservation is guaranteed until 6 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you arrive later, we would like to receive a notification.
At what time do I have to check-out?
You may use your room until 11 a.m. on the day of departure. Wish to check out at a later time? This is possible for a fee, provided the room is available. Please contact the hotel regarding this option.
Parking and Accessibility
IS IT POSSIBLE TO PARK MY CAR AT THE HOTEL?
Parking is available at the hotel. Rates are € 2.50 per hour / € 12.50 per day. You can pay for parking at the reception desk. There is also a large paid parking facility across from the hotel.
DOES THE HOTEL HAVE A CHARGING STATION FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES?
Grand Hotel Wientjes has a charging station for electric vehicles.
IS THE HOTEL EASILY ACCESSIBLE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT?
Grand Hotel Wientjes is easily accessible by public transport. At 'Zwolle' train station, walk north towards 'Stationsplein'. When you get there, turn left to stay on 'Stationsplein'. At the roundabout, take the second exit towards 'Stationsweg'. After 130 metres, the hotel will be on your right-hand side.
How can I make a reservation/cancellation?
You can reserve online quickly and easily. Prefer personal contact? Feel free to call to +31 (0)38 425 242 54 or email us to firstname.lastname@example.org. You will be sent an email confirming your reservation. You will pay upon your arrival at the hotel (except if you book at the special Value rate, which requires a credit card payment). Cancellation is at no charge until 24 hours before check-in (does not apply to the special Value rate).
Can I make a change to my reservation?
It is possible to make changes to your reservation online. At the bottom of the confirmation email you received for your reservation, you will find a button marked ‘change my reservation’. Clicking this button will direct you to the booking page, where you can adjust your reservation. We are, of course, also happy to offer you individual help by email or over the phone.
How is the price determined for my reservation?
The total cost of your reservation consists of the costs of your stay plus a service charge and a tourist tax. The service charge applies to all guests of age 12 and older and is a standard fee of € 2.20 per person per night. The tourist tax is set by the relevant municipal authorities and will therefore differ from one hotel to the next.
What contains the best price guarantee?
You no longer need to compare, you will receive the best price for your stay via the Bilderberg website and you will receive a discount on Bilderberg's extensive breakfast. Moreover, you have a choice of all room types that are available at the hotel. For example, choose a classic room, executive hotel room or suite.
Can I stay with children?
Yes, children are more than welcome at Grand Hotel Wientjes. It is possible to place an extra (children's) bed in various rooms. When you book a room with breakfast, for children 11 years or under you only pay for the extra (children’s) bed. Learn more.
Are there family rooms?
Yes, Grand Hotel Wientjes has several family rooms. There are rooms with connecting doors and the Executive room can be made 'en-suite'.
Are there special rates for children?
Children with the age 11 and under stay for free when you book an overnight stay including breakfast. In that case, you will pay only the fees for the use of an additional crib or bed. For package deals that include dinner or other extra amenities, a reduced rate will apply to children.
Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome to stay in Grand Hotel Wientjes for an added fee of €25 per night per dog. You can bring a maximum of two dogs. Dogs are not permitted in the restaurant.

Grand Hotel Wientjes has a lift that is accessible for those with disabilities. Furthermore, the hotel has disabled-friendly rooms. To book a specific room, please contact the hotel reception.
ARE SPECIAL WISHES POSSIBLE?
Because we are eager to ensure a pleasant experience for every guest, we make it a priority to accommodate their wishes/requirements whenever possible. If you inform us of your wishes in advance, we can let you know what is and is not possible.
What time is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served in our restaurant from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on weekdays and from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the weekends.
What time is lunch served?
For a delicious lunch, available on weekdays and Saturdays between 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., you can go to Restaurant W or our atmospheric Grand Café. Restaurant W is closed on Sundays, we would like to welcome you in our Grand Café between 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m..
What time is dinner served?
For a delicious diner, available on weekdays and Saturdays between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m you can go to Restaurant W or our atmospheric Grand Café. Restaurant W is closed on Sundays, we would like to welcome you in our Grand Café between 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m..
Can I rent a bike?
It is possible to rent men's and women's bicycles at the hotel. The costs are € 10 per day per bike. We recommend making a reservation in advance.
Is there a fitness room?
No, Grand Hotel Wientjes does not have a gym at the hotel. A professional fitness center is located at 400 meters from the hotel, which you can use as a guest for € 5 at a time. If you wish to make use of this, you can contact our reception staff for a voucher.
Is there a swimming pool and sauna?
No, Grand Hotel Wientjes does not have a swimming pool or sauna.
