You may check in at Château Holtmühle from 3 p.m. each day. But don’t worry if you need to arrive earlier. If your room isn’t ready yet, we will be happy to store your luggage for you. Your reservation is guaranteed until 6 p.m. on the day of arrival. If you arrive later, we would like to receive a notification.
You may use your room until 11 a.m. on the day of departure. Wish to check out at a later time? This is possible for a fee, provided the room is available. Please contact the hotel regarding this option.
Free parking is available in the spacious car park at the hotel. For loading and unloading you can temporarily park directly in front of the entrance of the hotel. If you have mobility problems, we can reserve a parking space near the entrance.
Château Holtmühle has eight charging stations for electric vehicles.
From 'Venlo' train station, take bus 66 in the direction of 'Reuver' train station and get off at 'Maasstraat'. From this stop, it takes eight minutes to walk to the hotel. From 'Tegelen' train station it takes sixteen minutes to walk to the hotel.
As a guest of Château Holtmühle, you are welcome to use our fitness facilities, which includes 3 stationary cycles, 2 elliptical trainers, 2 treadmills and 2 exercise mats. The fitness room is open from 7 a.m. to 10.30 p.m.
As a guest of Château Holtmühle, you are welcome to use our sauna, Turkisch steam bath and indoor swimming pool. These facilities are available from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Please note that bathing attire is required.

You will be sent an e-mail confirming your reservation. You will pay upon your arrival at the hotel (except if you book at the special Value rate, which requires a credit card deposit).
It is possible to make changes to your reservation online. At the bottom of the confirmation e-mail you received for your reservation, you will find a button marked ‘change my reservation’. Clicking this button will direct you to the booking page, where you can adjust your reservation. We are, of course, also happy to offer you individual help by e-mail or over the phone.
The total cost of your reservation consists of the costs of your stay plus a service charge and a tourist tax. The service charge applies to all guests of age 12 and older and is a standard fee of € 3.40 per person per night. The tourist tax is set by the relevant municipal authorities and will therefore differ from one hotel to the next.
Cancellation is at no charge until 3 p.m. before the day of arrival. After this time, or if you do not show up, 100 percent of the costs of the first night or the package will be charged on your credit card. This is not valid with the special Value rate.
You no longer need to compare, you will receive the best price for your stay via the Bilderberg website and you will receive a discount on Bilderberg's extensive breakfast. Moreover, you have a choice of all room types that are available at the hotel. For example, choose a deluxe hotel room, castle room or castle suite.
Yes, children are more than welcome at Château Holtmühle. It is possible to place an extra (children's) bed in various rooms. When you book a room with breakfast, for children 11 years or under you only pay for the extra (children’s) bed.
Yes, Château Holtmühle has a large family room with the possibility to add a maximum of two children's beds (for a fee). It is also possible to place a maximum of two beds in other rooms. You can use the telephone in your room to make a baby phone connection with the reception.
Children with the age 11 and under stay for free when you book an overnight stay including breakfast. In that case, you will pay only the fees for the use of an additional crib or bed. For package deals that include dinner or other extra amenities, a reduced rate will apply to children.
It is possible to put the invoice of your stay in the name of the company. Please mention this when making the reservation. Are you not making the reservation yourself? Then we ask you to inform us when you arrive at the hotel.
There is no loyalty programme for business guests.

On request, reception can always print or scan documents for you. A charge will be made for large quantities.
In a meeting room, you will find: two flip charts, a beamer with screen and a conference box. In the conference box, we have useful items for the meeting: post-its, markers, name tags, scrap paper and more.
Château Holtmühle's Glasenapp room has air conditioning. On request, a mobile air conditioner can be placed in one of the other meeting rooms.
Our rooms are equipped with a workstation, television, telephone and free Wi-Fi as standard. Our more luxurious rooms have other facilities. Find them here.
Dogs are welcome to stay in Château Holtmühle for an added fee of € 35,00 per night. You can bring a maximum of two small dogs, there are two rooms available. Dogs are not permitted in our restaurant and wellness. The hotel provides a feeding and drinking bowl.
Unfortunately, none of our rooms have been specifically modified for guests with disabilities. Château Holtmühle has a lift and some of the rooms are equipped with a walk-in shower or a bath with a separate shower.
Because we are eager to ensure a pleasant experience for every guest, we make it a priority to accommodate their wishes/requirements whenever possible. If you inform us of your wishes in advance, we can let you know what is possible.
Breakfast is served in our restaurant from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the weekends.
Lunch is available in our restaurant on weekdays between 12.30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Furthermore, you can enjoy a delicious lunch in our lounge daily from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Dinner guests are welcome in our restaurant Die Alde Heerlickheijt daily from 6 p.m. to 9.30 p.m.
All 66 rooms at Château Holtmühle have air conditioning. The rooms that are located in the Castle have mobile air conditioners because no air conditioning can be installed in the walls of a listed building.
It is possible to rent men's and women's bicycles at the hotel. The costs are € 15,00 per day per bike. It is also possible to rent electric bicycles for € 27,50 per day per bike. We recommend making a reservation in advance.
Château Holtmühle has charging points for electric bicycles.
Unfortunately, Château Holtmühle does not have a bicycle shed.

The Bilderberg Gift Card is free to spend at all Bilderberg hotels, restaurants and Wellness Centers of Bilderberg. It is not possible to pay for reservations with a credit card payment in advance using the Gift Card.
This depends on which hotel you are staying at. Château Holtmühle does not accept nationalwide gift cards, such as a VVV cadeaukaart.
